Speaker Failure

Speaker Failure

Are you having issues hearing people when you make or receive a call? Maybe they can’t hear you? To begin troubleshooting, make sure the volume is turned all the way up on the device. Make sure the device is not playing through a wired or bluetooth headset.

There are several causes of speaker failure. When a speaker is partially blown you can still partially hear the sound coming from the speaker. You may hear crackling, static, or distorted sounds. It could be a software glitch or perhaps physical damage to the device. Your speaker might be dirty from debris, dead skin, or anything that may have fallen or spilled on your device.

Make sure you check your speaker and receiver and make sure there are no obstructions.
